In our discussion, we also talk about what it takes to be a pastor-theologian and the practical benefit of historical theology for ministry among the churches. Cloud of Witnesses: A Treasury of Prayers and Petitions through the Ages (Crossway). 

 
Arnold is Associate Professor of Theological Studies at Cedarville University. Carter is senior pastor of Redeemer Church in Huntsville, AL.
